Executive Director Message

Welcome to Creative Career Systems Inc (CCS/CCLT), and thank you for your interest in programs and courses that can be completed by distance education through our Learning Direct open study and work programs.

 

The unique advantages CCS offers are open access and the ability to enroll at any time, offering work experience credits, and recognition of past educational pursuits towards a Diploma  and Work Experience. We offer flexibility to meet the needs and objectives of all learners, continuous enrolment, flexible scheduling, study anytime, anywhere, minimal program admission requirements, transfer of existing credits from other institutions, and Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLARs) for learning from life and work experience.

 

Completing a course of study from CCS becomes a very practical experience and related to the workforce demands. CCS – Job Skills Academy speaks to the growing need for partnerships among business, industry and education to ensure gainful employment, the extension of each person’s potential and the future viability of our Global Economy. While the populations of low income countries grow, the populations of high-income countries such as Canada will grow slower as the demographics age. The proportion of persons over sixty in Canada will continue to grow and so will the need for caregivers, health and services for the elderly. This provides many jobs in the health care sector and a logical migration of workers in human relations and health care. Education in the workplace will increasingly become the norm, and what one is learning will be less important than active involvement in learning and in personal development. Many businesses and industries today are experiencing the high labour turnover and are asking their employees what would make their work more satisfying. Employees are responding by saying they want better training, better communications and an opportunity to make a difference.
