CCS Academy was founded in 1989 by Gail Acton, a professional author and educator with more than three decades of experience.  As a Global Training and Development Advocate, she has designed and delivered educational programs and customized solutions for the classroom, the web and the workplace.

In addition, Gail is a creator of instructional and student manuals, tests and exams in Caregiving/Personal Support Worker programs and professional childcare studies. These programs promote standards in health care, social work and home making skills.

Gail has an MSW degree and over 30 years of experience in business, social work, career counselling, self-employment and development of entrepreneurship for communities and individuals.

CCS has operated in a variety of sectors including business, healthcare, education, training and government. CCS Academy has over thirty thousand graduates in more than six hundred programs.
